These Terms of Service govern the use of the MESHPRO Shotmetrix platform (“Shotmetrix”). By registering for or using Shotmetrix you accept these terms. Please read them carefully. The German version prevails in case of discrepancies.
1. Provider and scope
The provider and your contracting party is Kemmer Edelstahlschlosserei GmbH, Böhringerstraße 39/1, 78315 Radolfzell am Bodensee, Germany (Local Court Singen/Htwl., HRB 550308). MESHPRO® is a registered trademark of Kemmer Edelstahlschlosserei GmbH. Contact: support@shotmetrix.com.
These terms apply to all Shotmetrix features (web app, API, analysis and competition features). The Community Guidelines and the Privacy Policy apply in addition. Conflicting user terms do not become part of the agreement.
2. The service
Shotmetrix is a platform for sport shooters to record, analyse, compare and share training and competition results. This includes importing analyses (e.g. SCATT files, DISAG QR codes, photo and document uploads), automated result evaluation, posts, groups, 1vs1 duels, leaderboards and challenges.
2.1 Analyses are provided without warranty
Automated evaluation of targets, photos and documents relies on image recognition and AI models. It is a technical aid producing approximate values. Shotmetrix does not replace an official competition result, a referee decision or a certified measuring device. No warranty is given for the accuracy or completeness of individual results. The rulings of the respective organiser or federation always prevail.
2.2 Free of charge, no availability guarantee
Basic use of Shotmetrix is free. There is no entitlement to any particular level of availability, to specific features or to the permanent continuation of individual features. Maintenance, further development and the discontinuation of features remain reserved; we announce material changes with reasonable notice.
2.3 Test features
Features marked “beta”, “demo” or “test” are provided without any assurance of specific characteristics and may be changed or removed at any time. Results and leaderboards created in demo operation may be reset.
3. Registration and account
Most features require an account. Registration details must be truthful and the email address must be valid and reachable.
Minimum age: Use is permitted from the age of 16. Younger persons may use Shotmetrix only with the consent of their legal guardians.
Keep your credentials confidential and do not share them. As a rule, one account per person is permitted; additional accounts used to circumvent bans, competition rules or limits are prohibited. You are responsible for activity under your account; please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
4. Your content and licence
You retain the rights to your content (images, analysis data, texts). You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, unrestricted in territory and limited to the period of publication, to store your content, process it technically (including automated analysis and the creation of previews and renderings) and display it within the platform — for example in the feed, profiles, groups, duels, leaderboards and challenges, according to the visibility you choose.
If you set a post to private or delete it, display ends. For technical reasons (backups, caches) complete removal may lag briefly. In competition and leaderboard contexts a result may be retained for the duration and documentation of the competition in order to protect competition integrity.
You warrant that you hold the necessary rights to your content and do not infringe third-party rights (copyright, trademark, personality rights). Persons identifiable in your images must have consented to publication.
5. User obligations and prohibited conduct
The Community Guidelines apply. The following is prohibited in particular:
- Manipulated, third-party or misattributed analyses; editing target images or measurement data to improve a result.
- Submitting the same series more than once, using someone else's start code, and circumventing competition rules or limits.
- Content that violates applicable law — in particular weapons law — as well as depictions of firearms or accessories outside a sporting context, sales offers for items regulated under weapons law, and instructions for conversions or ammunition manufacture.
- Insulting, discriminatory, youth-endangering, political, religious or ideologically promotional content, as well as spam and unsolicited advertising.
- Automated extraction (scraping), bulk requests, circumvention of access controls, security testing without our written permission, reverse engineering, and any impairment of system security or stability.
- Sharing, selling or publishing API keys, start codes or credentials.
In the event of violations we may remove or hide content, exclude results from rankings, restrict features, or suspend an account temporarily or permanently. We choose the least intrusive suitable measure; serious or repeated violations may lead to immediate suspension.
6. Points, levels and badges
Points, levels, streaks, badges and similar elements serve motivation within the platform only. They have no monetary value, are not transferable, cannot be paid out and create no entitlement. We may adjust calculation rules and correct points that were clearly obtained improperly.
7. Competitions, duels and MY10 MASTERS
7.1 Participation
Competitions, group competitions, 1vs1 duels and challenges are additionally governed by the rules published for them (discipline, period, number of shots, accepted forms of evidence). Results are checked for plausibility automatically. Where rules are broken or evidence cannot be evaluated, a result may be marked invalid or a disqualification may be issued; on request we or the organiser will review the decision again.
7.2 Paid start cards (MY10 MASTERS)
Participation in MY10 MASTERS requires a paid start card. The purchase takes place in the respective organiser's shop; the contracting party, prices, payment methods, invoicing and the right of withdrawal are governed by the terms stated there. Shotmetrix provides the technical platform for these competitions (start code redemption, upload, analysis, leaderboard).
Start codes are personal and not intended for sharing. A start code can only be redeemed for the competition and discipline booked. Start cards already redeemed or used cannot be used again. If an organiser cancels a competition, any refund follows the organiser's terms.
7.3 Public leaderboards
By entering a competition you consent to your display name or name, where applicable club/team, the discipline and your results being shown in the associated leaderboard, which may be publicly accessible. See the Privacy Policy for details.
8. Term, deletion and termination
The user relationship runs for an indefinite period. You may end it at any time without giving reasons and request deletion of your account by emailing support@shotmetrix.com. We may terminate with 14 days' notice; the right to extraordinary termination and suspension for material breaches remains unaffected.
Upon termination your account and content will be deleted. Results already scored may be retained in anonymised form in the competition documentation; statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, for fraudulent concealment of defects, where a guarantee has been given, and under the German Product Liability Act.
For slightly negligent breach of a material obligation whose fulfilment is of particular importance for achieving the purpose of the contract, our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability for slight negligence is otherwise excluded.
Liability does not extend to damage arising from reliance on the accuracy of automated analyses (section 2.1), from other users' content, or from temporary unavailability. We are liable for loss of data only to the extent that would have been necessary for restoration had you backed up your data properly and regularly. Please keep your own copies of original files.
10. Indemnity
If you post unlawful content and third parties assert claims against us as a result, you will indemnify us against justified claims, including reasonable costs of legal defence, to the extent you are responsible for the violation.
11. Data protection
Which personal data we process, for which purposes and on which legal basis is set out in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms where required by changes in law, case law or new features. We will announce changes at least 30 days before they take effect by email or notice in the app. If you do not object before they take effect, the changes are deemed accepted; we will point out this right of objection again in the notice. If you object, either party may end the user relationship.
13. Final provisions
German law applies. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. For merchants, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Radolfzell am Bodensee or the provider's statutory venue.
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body. Please send enquiries and complaints to support@shotmetrix.com — we aim to resolve every matter directly.
Should any provision be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
